Electronics & Communication (GIA)

The field of Electronics and Communication is rapidly growing due to technological advances. ECE knowledge is crucial for modern applications like embedded systems, automation, and the Internet of Things (IoT). The Electronics and Communication Engineering Department (GIA), established in 1985, places equal emphasis on education and exposure to industry, allowing students to develop themselves as strong candidates. This main goal of department is to give students a quality education, shape them into responsible citizens, and empower them with the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed in today's competitive world. The department is enriched with state-of-the-art laboratories and highly qualified, experienced faculties. The department has established eight laboratories namely Microprocessor & Microcontroller lab, Basic Electronics laboratory, Instrumentation laboratory, Digital Electronics lab , Workshop laboratory, Communication laboratory and Advance communication laboratory which are fully equipped with testing/measuring equipments and trainers kits for laboratory work. Use of ICT tools is encouraged to set Interactive and effective teaching-learning environment. Expert talks, student workshops, industrial tours, soft skill development activities and parent teacher meetings are regularly scheduled by the department. The program has an intake of 60 students.

MISSION
